Dogs in the News
As you probably know, many dogs are trained and used by the American military. They take part in all kinds of military activities like searching for bombs or even raids. A dog accompanied the Navy Seals’ raid on Osama bin Laden’s Pakistan compound, which I, personally, find amazing. There are also dogs trained to rescue the victims of earthquakes or tornadoes. The police are doing a much better job with the help of dogs. My point is that dogs can be very useful if trained.
About a month ago, The Big Picture gathered several photos of working dogs, sniffer dogs, dogs affected by the natural disasters in Japan and rescued dogs. Here are just some of them. You can find more @Dogs in the News.
